The assessment procedure and weightage assigned for different components are clearly stated in student handbooks and information is clearly communicated to the students through course coordinators.
The Faculty adopts policies and regulations governing the appointment of both internal and external examiners and provides them with clear TORs.
External and internal examiners are appointed considering their subject expertise. Specific guidelines are provided for all the examiners with clear ToRs.

Assessment and examination marks are displayed through LMS and notice boards well before commencing the respective next examinations.
The Faculty/Institute adopts
well defined marking scheme, various forms of internal second marking(open marking, blind marking) and procedures for recording and verifying marks etc., to ensure transparency, fairness and consistency
The Faculty adopts well defined marking schemes which are approved by the moderator during the setting of question papers. Both first and second marking are based on approved marking scheme and open marking procedure is followed for all theory and practical examinations. Blind marking procedure is followed for evaluation of project reports, presentations etc. Faculty allows students to appeal for verifying their marks within two weeks after releasing the results.
Graduation requirements are ensured in the degree certification process and the transcript accurately reflects the stages of progression and student attainments
A special examination board is held to finalize results of students to be eligible for graduation. After the approval of the Senate transcripts are issued on request. Transcripts accurately reflect the stages of progression and student attainments.
A complete transcript indicating the courses followed, grades obtained and the aggregate GPA/grades, and class (where appropriate) is made available to all students at graduation.
